Good Morning from a Warmer Kansas Speedway 11am

Good Morning from a Warmer Kansas Speedway 11am

KANSAS CITY, Kansas – The sun is out and it is noticeably warmer here at Kansas Speedway this morning. It is already 68 and the mercury is expected to climb to 80 today. Final Cup practice has just ended. Jimmy Johnson led Cup Happy Hour. Kasey Kahne was 4th quick. A few of the USAC teams have arrived to prepare for the day. Most are taking their time as the Silver Crown cars won’t take to the track until about 4:45pm.

We will continue to do updates until the green flag of the Silver Crown race. We will then post the results ASAP following the race. Our post race schedule is tight with a deadline to catch my transportation out of the track and back to Memphis. I will post as much info as possible and write on the plane, then upload the info to the website following arrival at Memphis. Please check back following the race, later tonight and tomorrow morning for additional info.
