WEST ALLIS, Wis. – Welcome back to our coverage of USAC from the Milwaukee Mile. This morning Bobby Santos paced the morning practice session turning a time of 28.070 at 128.251 mph. Dave Steele was second quick with a time of 28.192. Dave Darland was third quick at 28.336. The one hour and a quarter practice session is the only practice session of the weekend for the series. Twenty-six cars took time in the track this morning of the twenty-eight entered. Qualifying is set for 1:15pm.
