2. Ohio State 10-0 Beat Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan State, Bowling Green, Iowa, Penn State, Cincinatti, Texas and Northern Illinois.
3. Michigan 10-0 Almost lost to David Letterman’s Ball State Fighting Cardnals. Beat Northwestern, Iowa, Penn State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, held off Vanderbilt and beat Notre Dame and Central Michigan.
4. Boise State 9-0 Beat Fresno State, Idaho, Louisiana Tech, Utah, Hawaii, Oregon State and Wyoming.
5. Rutgers 8-0 Beat Uconn, Pittsburgh, Navy, South Florida, Illinois, Ohio and Howard.
