Chicagoland Coverage

I am headed to Joliet to cover the USAC Silver Crown race Friday. We will start updates at www.retechracing.com Friday morning at 9am. I will also try to post photos and updates on this website when I have time but RETechRacing.com should be your primary website.

Bobble Danica Patrick

Last season Danica Patrick made waves at the Milwaukee Mile when she was given her own line for autographs prompting a boycott of the session by Andretti Green Racing. This year the Milwaukee Mile is again using the IRL’s best know driver to cash in. The track is giving the first 10,000 fans through the gates for the ABC Supply/AJ Foyt 225 IRL Indy Car Series race on July 23, a limited-edition Danica Patrick bobblehead. Good news for Silver Crown fans, come early, pick up your bobblehead and see the Silver Crown race which starts at 10:45am.

Robin Miller Lights the Candle
SPEED’s Robin Miller is back doing something that should make you NASCAR and F1 haters smile. The columnist took the sledgehammer to the two sanctioning organizations. He also has some great comments on Open Wheel racing. Here is the link. http://www.speedtv.com/commentary/27952

No Pain for Stewart
