Good Afternoon from DuQuoin! – 3:30pm

DuQuoin, Ill. – Good afternoon from DuQuoin, Illinois, site of today’s “Ted Horn 100.” According to today’s preliminary sign in sheet, 32 cars have entered tonight’s race. Defending winner Tracy Hines is not on the list but his car and his dog is here. I am working to get an updated list to you.

Tonight’s webcast will be a little slow due to the location of the laptop which is underneath grandstands and the pits which are in the infield with no access except to cross the track. If the track is hot then I can’t get across but will make every effort to do the updates ASAP.

The folks at Track Enterprises and the DuQuoin State Fair have been great and I couldn’t without them. The folks from IMS Productions are setting up the cameras for the Outdoor Channel broadcast.

If you are anywhere near DuQuoin, I encourage you to come to the track tonight for the race. The one mile DuQuoin oval always provides some of the best racing of the year and tonight should be no different. I am headed to the infield to solidify the entry list.
