Good Day for Racing 8am
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Hello again this time from the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Thirty-nine cars are on the pre-entry sheet for today’s race. Crews are currently working on their cars getting them ready for racing. Road crews are also working in the pit area to clear the main stage of equipment from last nights Big and Rich concert. Tonight the Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows take the stage. We are under cloudy skies and the temperature is climbing but should be more comfortable that past years. The track looks a little damp from last night’s rain but should be in good shape by the time to race. Below is the pre-entry list.
