Not So Fast!
Not So Fast!
13. Texas 6-1 at 23. Nebraska 6-1
The Big 12 crystal ball is clearing up. This weekend’s match between Texas and Nebraska will do a lot to determine a regular season champion. Texas will hook the Huskers.
Iowa 5-2 at 4. Michigan 7-0
This game looked like a redemption game for the Hawkeyes two weeks ago. After last weeks embarrassing loss to Indiana, the Iowa will make it two L’s in a row when Michigan beats them in the Big House.
25. Boston College 5-1 at Florida State 4-2
Two weeks ago Boston College had the special of the day, choke soup NC State style. That could be the case this weekend as the go visit Florida State. Florida State in a close one.
7. Rutgers 6-0 at 24. Pittsburgh 6-1
Why is this a big game? Rutgers is undefeated and Pitt’s only loss came at the hands of Michigan State. Rutgers will not be undefeated anymore. Pittsburgh will win this one.
Southern Mississippi 4-2 at Virginia Tech 4-2
Why is this a good one? Southern Miss lost to Florida and the best team in C-USA, Tulsa. Tech lost to Georgia Tech and Boston College. Tech though they had an easy homecoming opponent when they scheduled the Eagles. Uhh nope. Southern Mississippi will give the Hokies a run for their money but VT will edge them on the last part of the game.
10. Georgia Tech 5-1 at 12. Clemson 6-1
This will be a great match up and go a long way to determining the best in the ACC. Clemson will take the win in a good battle.
Alabama 5-2 at 8. UTK 5-1
Before Steve Spurrier went to Florida, only one game mattered on Tennessee’s calendar was the third Saturday in October. Alabama needs to rebound after dropping to Arkansas and Florida. Strange things happen on the third Saturday in October. Could Alabama sneak up to Rocky Top and steal a win. Not So Fast! The Vols are back. The Great Pumpkin aka Phil Fulmer will have his team ready and the team will have over 100,000 folks in the grandstands behind them. UTK will win in a good game.
