3. West Virginia 6-0 Beat Syracuse, Mississippi State, East Carolina, Eastern Washington, Maryland and Marshall.
4. Michigan 7-0 Beat Penn State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, held off Vanderbilt and beat Notre Dame and Central Michigan.
5. USC 6-0 Beat Arizona State, Washington, Washington State, Arizona, Nebraska and Arkansas.
