Tony Stewart Third, Jeff Gordon Survives Hard Hit

while teammate Denny Hamlin came back from a spin and flat tire to win the race. Kasey Kahne bounced back from a bad pitstop and then a flat tire to finish seventh.
Carl Edward’s team had a rare mistake when the No. 99 fell off of the jack. The pitstop lasted over a minute. Edwards would finish twenty-fifth.
Casey Mears wrecked early to finish last.
The biggest hit of the day came when Jeff Gordon had a mechanical failure and hit the turn one wall hard.
Gordon credited the safer barriers, his seat and the builders of his car for surviving the accident.
The former Silver Crown driver was able to climb out of the car on his own power,
Then, he took time to investigate for himself what happened to his car. Gordon finished thirty-fourth. See what Denny Hamlin did after the checkered flag fell by visiting our sister website http://tvvictorylane.blogspot.com/.
