NEWTON, Iowa – Good morning from Iowa Speedway where we have overcast skies and a temperature drop from Saturday. At 10:35am the temperature here at the track was 59 degrees and the winds were out of the north. Teams are headed into the pits to begin work on their cars although the first action on the track does not begin until 3pm. Our friends over at www.racefanradio.com will begin their live audio webcast at 2pm. USAC is holding a formal news conference today at 12:30pm for the drivers that set the midget and sprint records Saturday. We are planning to cover the news conference and will have highlights.
