Josh Wise to Michael Waltrip Racing?

Josh Wise to Michael Waltrip Racing?

It looks like USAC ace Josh Wise could drive for Michael Waltrip Racing in their driver development program in 2007. Wise visited MWR last week with his agent Jeff Dickerson of Motor Sports Management International. Wise’s visit was documented on the television program “7 Days” on SPEED.

Dickerson stated on the program that Wise signed a letter of intent with Michael Waltrip Racing.

The program on SPEED revealed that Wise is looking at a condo in North Carolina. According to the broadcast, Wise could test at Caraway Speedway and Chicagoland.

His 2007 schedule could have him in an ARCA car early in the season and then run Busch Series races if that is what Michael Waltrip racing wants to do. “7 Days” also showed Jeff Dickerson spending time with USAC’s Kyle Nicolas.

While talking to Nicolas, Dickerson left the impression that Wise had not yet signed a contract with MWR. “7 Days” which follows around Open Wheeler agent Jeff Dickerson is scheduled to reair on SPEED at 2am and 10:30am eastern Tuesday morning.
