Pre Race Notes 3pm


NEWTON, Iowa – In the sprint warmup, Dave Steele had the fastest time followed by Josh Wise and Marc Jessup. In the Silver Crown division, Aaron Pierce had the fastest time followed by Jay Drake and Bud Kaeding.

This is NOT official but look for USAC to probably schedule the 2007 midget race at Knoxville Raceway to coincide with the 2006 IRL weekend at Iowa Speedway. The IRL is scheduled to visit Iowa Speedway June 22-24.

Curt Cavin from the Indianapolis Star is in the house.

We are expecting a high of 68 and clearing skies. It should be perfect to racing. Time to go out and shoot the race. Race Fans Radio.com will have live audio coverage.
