Steele Wins Midget Race 4:20pm

NEWTON, Iowa – Dave Steele won the first ever USAC National Midget Series today at Iowa Speedway. Bobby Santos III started on the pole and battled with Dave Steele but Steele took the lead and with a blistered right rear, held on for the win. On lap 24 Billy Wease slowed and Dave Steele made contact with Wease. Tom Hessert finished second followed by Tracy Hines.
