16. UTEP 1-0 Beat San Diego State.
17. Texas Tech 1-0 Beat lowly SMU.

22. UTK 1-0 The Vols are back after owning Cal for most of the game.

Six One Loss Teams to Watch
UAB 0-1 Either UAB is going to have a great season or Oklahoma stinks. UAB should have one that game. They did win my respect, which is why they are on the Knocking on the Door list.
Georgia Tech 0-1 Almost beat Notre Dame.
Southern Mississippi 0-1 The Eagles gave FLA a run but lost out at the Swamp.
Arkansas 0-1 Arkansas USC beat Arkansas and from looking at the scoreboard it appears that Arkansas never had a chance. Not the case, two things sunk Arkansas’s ship. 1. Their legs gave out on them and there were several questionable calls. USC was still the better team but Arkansas has improved from 2005 and may find the top 25 before the season is over.
Cal 0-1 Cal was owned by UTK. Final score did not reflect the game.
Miami 0-1 Lost a good opener to Florida State.
