Kahne on ATL Pole/ East Qualifies Fifth

Open Wheeler On ATL Pole, Not Newman
Kasey Kahne bumped fellow Open Wheeler Ryan Newman as the pole man in Hotlanta. Kahne bested Newman’s qualifying time Friday night by .002 turning a time of 28.792. Here is how the other Open Wheelers faired.

East Qualifies Fifth at the ATL
Bobby East wasn’t the fastest car on the track but he was good enough to get the No. 20 into the top five at the truck race at Atlanta. Todd Bodine grabbed the pole. Kraig Kinser will start 9th, Terry Cook 11th, Mike Bliss 24th, Kyle Krisiloff 29th, Erin Crocker 30th and Boston Reid 31st. The race is tonight live on SPEED.
