Harvick Wins as Lamar Has Tough Night

Harvick Wins as Lamar Has Tough Night

Kevin Harvick extended his points lead again in the NASCAR Busch Series tonight at Richmond. When the green flag dropped it was Jeff Burton up front in a race that was dominated again by Cup drivers.

Burney Lamar had a rough night as he went around three times.

In the end, it was Harvick who extended his lead to 619 points ahead of second place Carl Edwards. There are now only five drivers mathmatically eligible for the Busch Championship with ten races to go. JJ Yeley, the fifth driver is 902 points behind Harvick.

During the race the announcers said the race was sold out. They must not have put up all of the seats in the facility for sale there.
